In a recent report, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman stated that Apple's WWDC 26 promotional poster contained design clues, indicating that the upcoming iOS 27 system will feature a major overhaul of the Siri voice assistant.图片

According to Gurman, the new Siri interface will be deeply integrated with the "Smart Island" feature, appearing as an expanded capsule with a glowing visual effect upon activation, echoing the halo design in the poster. The new Siri will also adopt a new interaction style similar to an AI assistant, appearing as an independent application, supporting multi-command parallel processing, context awareness, and integration with third-party AI agents. He mentioned that although the project has experienced multiple delays, the overall improvements are significant, and Apple may have already locked in the final design direction through the poster, making major adjustments before the launch event unlikely.

The report indicates that the overall iOS 27 update focuses on stability and performance optimization, with relatively restrained new features. The system will add a quick undo/redo button to the home screen, allowing users to quickly revert to changes in icon and widget layouts; it will also provide a liquid glass effect adjustment slider, supporting more refined visual customization. Furthermore, underlying system optimizations are expected to improve battery life.

Apple's WWDC 26 will be held soon, where it will officially release the next generation of operating systems, including iOS 27, macOS, and watchOS.
